Rangers have been handed a major boost ahead of their clash with Aberdeen this weekend as striker Abdallah Sima has been cleared to play.
The 20-year-old forward, who is on loan from Brighton, has been in fine form for the Gers in recent weeks, netting four goals in his last three appearances.
Sima was a doubt for the game at Pittodrie after missing training on Friday with a minor knock, but he has now been declared fit to play.
Rangers boss Michael Beale admits it is a big boost for the team
"It's a big boost for us," said Beale. "Abdallah has been in great form and he's a real threat to the opposition.
"He's got pace, he's got power, and he's got a good eye for goal. He's a real handful."
Sima's return to fitness is a timely boost for Rangers as they look to close the gap on Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
The Gers are currently six points behind their rivals, but they have a chance to reduce that deficit when they take on Aberdeen on Saturday.
Sima will be hoping to start the game and add to his goal tally, but he will face stiff competition from Fashion Sakala and Alfredo Morelos.
Sima is grateful to be back
"I'm grateful to be back," said Sima. "I missed training yesterday with a minor knock, but I'm feeling much better now.
"I'm looking forward to the game on Saturday and I'm hoping to help the team get three points."
Rangers fans will be hoping that Sima can continue his good form and help the team to victory against Aberdeen.
