Verstappen and Leclerc believe that off-camber F1 corners in Abu Dhabi should be banked.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc are two of the most respected drivers in Formula One, so when they both have the same suggestion, you'd be wise to listen.

Verstappen and Leclerc both believe the off-camber corners at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi should be banked. This would make them more similar to the banked corners at the Circuit de Monaco, where drivers are able to carry more speed through the corners.

Verstappen said he thought the off-camber corners "were a bit tricky to navigate" and that banking them would make for "more exciting racing."

Leclerc agreed with Verstappen, saying that banking the corners would "make it more interesting to attack."

Formula One officials are considering the suggestion, but there is no word yet on whether they will make the change. However, the fact that two of the sport's top drivers are in favor of the change suggests that it is something that is seriously being considered.
